I love kids and I love teaching. Second grade is my favorite grade to teach. I have taught preK, kindergarden, 1st, and 2nd grade over the last 20 years. My daughters are adults now but they came to Johnson with me years ago. I am so lucky to get to teach second graders at Johnson Elementary!

I grew up in Waco, Texas and went to Baylor University. I am certified to teach prek-6th grade. This is my 20th year to teach in public school. I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. This is my 16th year at Johnson. I teach because I LOVE children.
